For over three decades, 311 has captivated listeners with their unique fusion of rock, reggae, rap, and funk, creating a sound that is distinctly their own. Known for hits like “Down,” “Amber,” “All Mixed Up,” and “Beautiful Disaster,” the band’s ability to seamlessly blend multiple genres has earned them a loyal following and a reputation for innovation.

Backstage at the Good Things Festival in Sydney, we had the chance to sit down with Nick Hexum, lead vocalist and guitarist, and S.A. Martinez, the band’s MC and vocalist. After a long hiatus from touring down under it was a moment to reflect on their long-lasting connection with fans, particularly in Australia as well as what the future of their music is.
